AS YOUR CITY COUNCILMAN - This is what I plan to do for Pinole:
- Maintain current services with no new taxes for residents.
- Make the development of the former Doctor's Hospital site top priority, possibly Lowes, other home improvement, or big box retail.
- Continue development of downtown as a restaurant district.
- Eliminate past waste from mismanagement and bad deals, accomplished with help from Charlie Long and city staff.
- Create jobs and revenue by designating San Pablo Avenue between Embers and Nob Hill as light industrial / office park.
- I will make expansion of our tax base by increased retail and jobs growth my number one priority. We must be fiscally conservative.
